I completed my training as a STOTT Pilates® trainer in 2010/2011 with Michaela Bimbi-Dresp in Munich. After my career as a solo dancer (Ballet of the State Opera Unter den Linden, Berlin, Leipzig Opera, National Ballet of Marseille, State Theater Munich), a master's degree in cultural studies and years of working at a desk, I felt the need to return to my roots -bodywork. The feeling of being in harmony with my body is something I want to pass on in my classes.
I teach an approach that is deep, very precise and equally relaxing. In order for all participants to experience the best possible effects from a Pilates class, I place great emphasis on precise anatomical alignment during each exercise.
The meditative component of a Pilates class reveals itself in the moment when one manages to be in active contact with one's own body and breath for sixty minutes with absolute concentration and dedication: the result is a powerful body combined with a relaxed mind.
For me, being in harmony with one's own body means living holistically.
